For whom?
This module has been put together for riders who want to learn how to ride side gaits, for riders who want to teach their horse the side gaits in a good and healthy way, or for riders who want to further improve their side gaits. This module is also very useful for instructors who want to boost their instructional skills with regard to lateral gaits!
The common thread in this module is "How you sit is how you work". Often, riders get frustrated because they unconsciously oppose the horse with their seat while giving aids with their legs and reins to make the horse perform a side gait. This is confusing and stressful for the horse, and in the long run even so (over)burdensome and harmful that their physical health is endangered. If you are aware of what exactly your horse has to do with his body in the side gaits, you can help your horse by 'leading' him with your seat and with your movement. This may sound a bit complicated now, but in this module you will learn the logic behind each movement.
